Meet Dr. Kenneth Neidhart
Dr. Ken Neidhart was born and raised in the Chicago area. Even after forty years of Wisconsin citizenship and acculturation to the Badgers, Packers and all things Wisconsin, he still maintains a passionate love for the Cubs, – and, some say, a naïve mystification over the animosity felt by Wisconsinites for the Bears.
Dr. Neidhart matriculated at Loyola University before attending the University of Illinois to earn his B.S. and D.D.S. degrees. After a two years of service in the Navy, Dr. Neidhart pursued his periodontal specialty training at the University of Nebraska. He began his specialty practice in 1976 by joining Madison’s oldest periodontal practice, and he has cultivated a reputation as one of Madison’s best. His professional motivation from the start has been to provide the best service with compassion and integrity. A patient orientated practice has meant the provision of services customized to the unique needs and expectations of the patient, rather than solely motivated by preconceived notions of protocol.
Dr. Neidhart is a Past President of the Wisconsin Society of Periodontists and the Dane County Dental Society. He has served on numerous local and state committees for the Wisconsin Society of Periodontists, Wisconsin Dental Association and Dane County Dental Society. He also served for twenty-five years as Clinical Instructor, and for eight years as the Chief of the Periodontics Section, for the Max Pohle Dental Residency at Meriter Hospital.
